The international expert seminar “Young People’s access to rights: Learning and sharing experiences in youth policy and youth work” took place in Moscow
The president of Umbrella Slava Mezhdoyan took part at the international expert seminar.
The international expert seminar that took place on 25-28 November 2018 in Moscow, gathered 50 youth workers and youth policy makers from non-governmental and governmental bodies from the Europe and Russian Federation.
The seminar analyzed the role and impact of youth policy and youth work in improving young people`s access to rights in the Russian Federation and other states-parties to the European Cultural Convention and should contribute to creating a common understanding of the implications of a rights-based youth policy in the context of the Council of Europe.
The programme of the seminar has been focused on mutual intercultural learning on the basis of practices and experiences of participants in the framework of Recommendation CM/Rec (2016)7 of the Committee of Ministers to member-states on young people’s access to rights.
The project has been supported by the European Youth Foundation from the Council of Europe side and Ministry of Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
